JOB DESCRIPTION
- Continuously monitor all variables accessible through the computer screens
- Respond in expedited manner to any alarms displayed by the control system
- Coordinate with Lab operator and Field operator to make adjustments in the process
- Estimate times and production rates and report overfill forecasts
- Participate and report all shift issues during pass-down
- Interact in a courteous and respectful manner with co-workers and customers
- Fill and email reports
- Generate CofA document with values from
- Coordinate fill operations with “Field” or “Fill” operators
- Assume the full responsibility for safety during the absence of the plant manager
- Make decisions, direct and communicate in emergency situations
- Establish communication with Fire Department in emergency situations
- Monitor cameras
- Grant or deny access to trucks as required
REPORTS
- Report salt consumption and forecast needs
- Report immediately any situations that compromise operation or safety
- Report in the log book any changes to the process during the shift
- Fill and e-mail status reports
- Sign and certify CofA values in document
