JOB DESCRIPTION
- Make hose-connections and coordinate trailer fillings with control room
- Obtain inbound and outbound tickets for incoming and outgoing trailers
- Prepare inhibitor and additives when required
- Unload acid, caustic, hypo trucks when required
- Unload salt trucks when required
- Unload salt rail cars when required
- Make hose-connections to rail cars when required
- Clean salt filter on the roof everyday
- Operate and maintain salt trans-loading system to fit needs of the process
- Maintain the good appearance of the plant and do housekeeping as required
- Interact in a courteous and respectful manner with co-workers and customers
- Participate in weekly safety meetings
REPORTS
- Report and generate work orders for anomalies that require maintenance work.
- Obtain CofA, BOL and generate DOT document package for drivers
- Report immediately any situations that compromise operation or safety
- Report in the log book any issues found during the shift
- Participate and report any shift issues during pass-down
- Fill and e-mail dispatch reports
- Update the “prestige” software with latest shipment details
- Update fill reports
